| Program 1 - Ichthyology: Adaptations | |

Recommended for grades K – College. Explore the rich diversity of life below the surface of the San Francisco Bay. In this study of fish, you will learn how fish have adapted to live in the bay. | Program 2 - Benthic Invertebrates: Invasive Species | |
| Recommended for grades 4 – College. San Francisco Bay is a popular destination not only for people, but also for hundreds of non-native invertebrate species. In fact the majority of invertebrates now in the bay are non-native. Learn the history of this invasion and use our keys to identify live invertebrates commonly found in the bay. | Program 3 - Hydrology: Experimentation | |

Recommended for grades 4 – College. Conduct real-world experiments to test the composition of bay water. Does water density increase or decrease with depth? | Program 4 - Plankton: The MicroCosmos | |
| Recommended for grades K – College. Although among the smallest of organisms, you will learn just how important plankton are to our daily lives. After collecting some plankton samples from the bay, you will have a chance to see them up close and personal from under a microscope. You will learn to identify different types of plankton.
